The Heart behind Komplexions by Ms. Reid

Some businesses begin with opportunity. This one began with care.

My name is Keanna, founder and CEO of Komplexions By Ms. Reid LLC. Before becoming a formulator and entrepreneur, I spent 18 years in the medical field, beginning my career as an allergy and asthma nurse in 2012. I worked closely with patients struggling with eczema, persistent dryness, inflammation, and chronic skin discomfort. One of those patients was my son.

Watching him endure constant itching and scarring shifted something in me. In 2020, I created my first product specifically for him. What began as a solution for his sensitive skin became the foundation of something much greater. Research evolved into formulation. Passion evolved into purpose.

I began studying the benefits of natural oils, organic butters, and botanical herbs, developing products designed to support concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, psoriasis, and chronic dryness. Over time, Komplexions by Ms. Reid grew into more than a skincare line. It became a reflection of every role I carry. 

I am a grandmother, an autism advocate, a chronic pain warrior, and the author of Amazing Day with Noah and Friends. Each experience shapes how I create; with patience, intention, and an understanding that care must feel safe, consistent, and supportive. This combination is rare. It isn’t confusion, it’s differentiation.

This brand was never built simply to sell products. It was created to build rituals that feel safe, care that feels intentional, and confidence that grows through consistency. Every formulation is crafted with thoughtfully selected ingredients designed to support the skin gently and effectively.
